How can i teach myself ballet?
I did ballet when i was younger along with tap but for some reason decieded to stop but i want to get back into it. im 16 but dont have the time or money to do proper classes or get videos is ther anywhere where i can do it off my computer for free?im only doing this for fun so please no negative answers

Is 15 too old to START ballet?

Are ballet flats still in?
and if they aren't, what kind of shoes are?? i hate plimsolls and im talking about shoes for school, so no heels,and i dont like converse or vans. lolthanks okay, yeah i know converse and vans are in, but they aren't my style. & i was just curious if they were.thanks again everyone

How can I get in shape for ballet?
So, I'm starting a ballet class in the fall after a very long period of NOT takng it. I'm not very flexible, and I'm DEFINITELY not in shape. Any suggestions as to what I could do over the summer to work on the flexibility getting in shape issue? Like, stuff I could work on at home?Help is appreciated

Anybody have a basic pointe work/ballet exercise regime?
i have been on pointe for a year and need to practice daily. i need to find an exercise regime to do every day like what exercise and how many repetitions. i need pretty basic stuff, because i can't turn or pique up very well yet. pilates exercises will be helpful too. if anyone has suggestions, they would be appreciated

What to wear to ballet class?
So,im 15 and im going to try and see if i like it. The teacher said to wear tights and a t shirt. What color tights should they be and how long? What kind of t ghirt should i wear? HELP

Intermediate ballet variation?
hello all. i would like to prepare a variation for a school show in the fall. are there any variations you can think of that would be suitable for an intermediate pointe dancer? or if worst comes to worst, a fun upbeat variation i can do on flat? if this helps at all, i can do jumps and turns relatively well, but i do not have the best extension though that can be worked on .

Can i start ballet at 14 with a little experience?
i am 14 and i have about 3 years of experience with ballet age 4 7 i really want to start again but i am not sure... would i have to be in a class with little kids or is there a beginners class that i could take?thanks so much in advance

What to pack for a two week ballet intensive?
i am going to a two week ballet intensive. im staying in a dorm. i know the obvious things to bring like leotards, tights and other clothes. but what are other important things to bring that would be really helpful and useful

Can someone answer my ballet questions?
1. Which type of leotard is better, tank, spaghetti or sleeves? Or is it just personal preference of what looks better? I'm thinking of canceling out spaghetti because the straps might fall while I'm dancing.2. Do you need a bra under your leotard3. where should you sew your ballet slippers elastics criss cross way ...all the waya to the top or in the middle or what?

Beginning teen ballet at 16?
i'm planning to take a beginning teen ballet class in the fall. i've been wanting this for a long time. i have no intention of pursing ballet professionally, but i do want to be good at it. i know it's going to be harder since i'm starting very late, but will i be able to do so?

When doing the moon walk your top-toe-ing foot you have to really stand on the toes like doing ballet?
i can't do it cause its very painful and i can't balance.
