Apart from the cliche-but-true "Never too late to do anything ", I can say that it won't be too bad. Obviously if you consider becoming a full-blown ballet star then it will take some SERIOUSLY hard work if you start now, but chances are you'll only want to do the mediocre stuff - pirouette, take grades, be flexible and graceful. Plus, if you already do jazz and modern then chances are you will have a kick-start at ballet because you will already have some balance and strength that is required. So I don't see why not - go for it!

You could definitely start Ballet at 15! Ballet helps you with all other dance styles. It helps your posture, memory, and discipline. Ballet combinations are like a puzzle in so many ways, each combination has to fit together and make sense, and also once you have mastered a new step it leads to the next. Ballet is in the roots of a lot of Jazz and Modern so it would definatly inproove technique a lot for a Jazz/ Modern dancer.

Of course it's ok to start! I started dancing hip-hop 3 years ago, and I started tap one year ago and I'm just a teen now! Plus for the tap I worked hard and dedicated myself to dancing and now it's my 2nd year and I'm already in the company (higher tap class) which has never happened before. Also ballet is extremley helpful. It helps with flexibility, balance, and coordination. But the only thing is if you are doing pointe ballet eventually it is going to hurt. So you want to have strong calf muscles so do plie relevetes. Atleast 3 times a day do 15. It will help imensley!

If you want to be a professional ballet dancer it is probably almost too late.(17 in company's you are already old) So if you are just doing it for "fun " then you are fine.

Nopee. im pretty sure you can start at like any age. i know an eighty year-old that still dances. shes my heroo. :) hahaha. but i think you should do ballet, because it will help your technique. obviously. haha. but it would help you in your modern and jazz a lot.
